[1295] Visual Designer

Description

- Collaborate with Product Designer to ensure visuals align with the overall user experience for web and mobile app

- Design a cohesive icon set to help users easily recognize product features

- Create illustrations for onboarding screens, empty states, in-app banners, guides, and educational content

- Develop and maintain visual style guidelines for internal and external use

- Work with marketing to produce visuals for social media, and other growth campaigns

- Present and communicate design ideas clearly with stakeholders and team members

- Ensure all visuals are aligned with the Wao tone: supportive, empowering, and community-driven

- 2+ years of experience as a Visual Designer or similar role in a digital product or tech environment

- A strong portfolio showcasing digital illustrations, icon sets, and interface assets

- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma etc…

- Strong illustration skills (hand-drawing or digital illustration)

- Ability to work across multiple design needs, from product to marketing

- Understanding of how visuals impact behavior, clarity, and user engagement

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Bonus: Interest in health, wellness, or behavior change
